We put together a mini audiocube configuration panel for building audio applications easily with the cubes and Max/MSP. This will also let us develop some interesting standalone audio applications in the very near future.

Here is the link to the zip file of the patches folder. You can copy it over the patches folder included with the 052008 release. For those who can’t wait to dive in: the patches are called CubeWidget*. The one you should include in your patches is CubeWidgetPanel.pat. The patches are cross-platform, of course.

Alternatively you can use the patch submitted by Peter Nyboer from Livid Instruments. You can find it in the forum here: http://forum.percussa.com/viewtopic.php?f=5&t=28

As an example, we created some patches to send Open Sound Control (OSC) messages to Future Audio Workshop’s  Circle synth using the AudioCubes. Inside the patches folder, look for CubeWidgetPanelToCircle.pat.

We also did a Quartz Composer example to send colour info over Open Sound Control (OSC) from Quartz to the AudioCubes’ RGB LED. Inside the patches folder, look for QuartzToCubeWidgetPanel.pat.

The updated patches will be included in the next software release of course. Meanwhile you can use the above links. If you have some questions or problems getting it running join the forum at http://forum.percussa.com/ – we will be delighted to help you.
