Last week, August 7, the Ableton Colorado User Group meet up took place.
The Ableton Colorado User Group is an independent group all about electronic music production and performance centered around Ableton. Each year the user group organizes several meet-ups as well as shares a lot of knowledge and documentation on electronic music on their website. Marc Wei is lead organizer of the Ableton Colorado User Group.
Last week's meet-up took place at Vinyl, a well-known club in Denver Colorado (US).
Mark Mosher started the evening with a 25 minute performance with new songs for his next album and songs from his album "I Hear Your Signals". He performed with the same set as he'll be playing in September at the Electro-Music 2011 festival in NY: AudioCubes, Theremin, Tenori-on, Keyboard, and laptop.
After Mark Mosher's performance, Marc Wei, lead organizer of the Ableton Colorado User Group, gave a beginner talk about clip launching.
During the second talk, Jeremiah spoke on hacking Mac OSX IAC drivers to add additional channels to the audio setup. The last presenter was Chanse Dobson. He did an interview as well as answered all the questions from the audience. The Ableton Colorado User Group Meet up at Vinyl was closed with some music played by Dana.
